Beauty work requires a subtle touch, smoothing skin while retaining pores and detail. Here we've brightened up her face and removed some — but not all— the imperfections, to keep the skin looking natural.
To color-correct clothing, we first consider how, in this case, darker jeans would react under the same light. Note that we've also changed the pockets, the pattern on the undershirt, and the color of the sweater: all to help frame the jeans.
Working with patterns is like building a jigsaw puzzle; to remove the pockets from this pair of shorts, we pieced together scraps of fabric. We achieved the new style while being careful to maintain the pattern.
It's often necessary to create digital representations of products that don't exist yet for use in marketing materials. This project involved replicating the numeric keypad from the upper left number pad, using the overall shape of the keypad with the hand in the shot, and incorporating the screen of the lower left keypad to evoke the look and feel of a prototype.
When you have such a beautiful shape to start with, retouching merely completes the perfection. Here we removed the yellow cast and refined the violinist's shape.
We've perfected the art of fabric wrinkle removal, having taking out hundreds of thousands if not millions of them.
Shots like this one simply demand that the apparel stands out better against the background.
Digital corrections often give you the freedom to highlight the more important areas of the photograph, allowing for a more captivating image.
With small but intricate adjustments to the shadows, mid-tones and highlights, we've given this image some POP!
Sometimes the apparel doesn't come across as intended and some digital help is necessary. Here we lightened the stripes on the shirt, made the background more neutral, and color corrected her skin.
