Naomi Bock brings her many talents to Colorhythm as its Communications Manager. As a technical and corporate communications writer, she's helped companies in the U.S., U.K., and Canada articulate their brand messages, product documentation and other marketing materials. As a freelance journalist, writer-director for broadcast documentaries and episodic TV as well as drama and experimental art films, her work has been seen and read nationally in Canada. She's also produced a variety of web-based projects related to arts and education. Her strong interest in evolving media technologies helps her communicate these developments to general audiences as well as dream up strange new art forms to explore.
Naomi earned a Bachelor of Journalism with high honors (that's "honours" in Canada, Australia and the U.K.) at Ottawa's Carleton University. Although she loves a good colloquialism, she's a stickler for the correctly written word, routinely pestering shopkeepers about their misspelled and/or erroneously punctuated sandwich boards. Currently living in San Francisco, she's a dual citizen of both Canada and Estonia. In her spare time, she's currently working on a feature-length screenplay, a mobile video sculpture project, and a novel to also be experienced as an immersive multimedia website.
