With wide-ranging experience designing and troubleshooting automated publishing solutions, Director of Software Development Doug Witscher is an expert in a wide variety of development platforms and languages. His software design career took hold in 1992 while he was Manager of Information Services at a furniture importing firm, after he evaluated the failures of available accounting software and decided to write his own.

His many custom solutions and services have included software and database development, web infrastructure, system maintenance and employee training for Macys.com, Levi Strauss & Co., New Organics and Horizons International Accents. Before joining Colorhythm to become the principal architect of the Prismpoint™ System, Doug was lead software developer for a full-fledged automated publishing platform for Levi Strauss & Co.

Mr. Witscher's penchant for the Dvorak keyboard layout, the Esperanto constructed language, alternative calendar systems, the world of character encodings, among other obsessions, vividly exemplify his independent and intellectually rich worldview.
